Fundamentals of Programming MFC Library Applications
This course is intended for corporate developers who build
mission-critical, Windows-based component applications with
C++, as well as software vendors moving to object-oriented
technology.
It teaches the fundamentals of programming applications
with the Microsoft® Foundation Class (MFC) Library.
At the end of the course, students will be able to:
- Define advanced C++ constructs.
- Understand the architecture of the Microsoft Windows®
operating system.
- Use document-view architecture.
- Use wizards to generate and maintain MFC applications.
This course helps you prepare for the following Microsoft
Certified Professional exam:
- Solid understanding of the C++ language, including the
ability to write basic console applications and build
class hierarchies using single inheritance and
polymorphism.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Windows 95 operating
system from a user's perspective.
- Experience with a graphical user interface
(GUI)–based C++ development environment.
